1. Who we are

Jarr is a savings goal tracker delivered via WhatsApp. We help individuals and partners track progress toward financial goals. References to "we", "us", or "Jarr" mean the operator of this service.

2. Data we collect

• Your WhatsApp phone number (provided automatically when you message us)
• Your display name (you choose this during onboarding)
• Goal names, target amounts, deadlines, and deposit amounts you provide
• Currency preferences you select
• Subscription status and payment records (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)

3. How we use your data

• To operate the savings tracking service and send you progress updates via WhatsApp
• To process payments via Stripe
• To notify your savings partner of deposit activity (only if you explicitly invite one)
• To improve the service using anonymised, aggregated analytics

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Meta (WhatsApp) — message delivery via the WhatsApp Business API
• Neon / Supabase — database hosting (your data is stored in their infrastructure)

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised aggregates may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at hello@thejarr.co. You may also request that we stop processing your data.

7. Cookies and tracking

myjarr (the web dashboard) uses no third-party cookies. A short-lived authentication token is passed via URL query parameter and is not stored in a cookie.
